Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Berton and Jane (Drinkwater) Benjamin. Bert graduated from Greenwich, Conn., High School and attended Nichols College before proudly serving in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955 and was a Korean War Veteran. Bert retired after working 27 years for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a big Boston sports fan. Husband of the late Barbara H. Benjamin.
