Peacefully at the Tsi Ion Kwa Nonh So Te Nursing Home Cornwall Island on Thursday July 15, 2010 age 97 years. Mildred Dennison (Baker) nee Swerdfeger formerly of Ingleside. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Dennison and the late Arthur Baker. Loved mother of Lorne Dennison (Catherine) of Cornwall and Lyal Dennison (Pat) of Ingleside. Dear step mother of Dale Lafave (Malcolm) of Saskathchewan. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Randy, Angela, Alison, Petrina, Craig, Lori and Kurtis. Cherished foster mother to numerous children. Predeceased by her parents Chesley and Hattie (Barkley) Swerdfeger; one daughter Dolores Dennison; one step daughter Faye Baker and two sisters Audrey Dafoe and Dorothy Crites. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel & Reception Centre 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Monday from 10am until 10:45am. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF MILDRED DENNISON'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON MONDAY JULY 19, 2010 AT 11:00AM.]. Reverend Daniel Hayward officiating. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
