Mamie G. Brown went to her "forever home" surrounded by her family at the age of 97 on September 23, 2015. She was born July 9, 1918 in Royal, OK to George and Cora Harris Anderson. Mamie was a faithful follower of Jesus and a strong prayer warrior. She was a member and one of the original founders of Hillcrest Family Worship Center where she was the song leader for many years. She loved spending time with her extended family and her church family. She kept children in her home for many years and loved working in her yard and taking in ironing. Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, William T. (Buster) Brown, parents, 9 siblings, son-in-law, Bill Callahan and many brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She is survived by 2 daughters, June Callahan and Marsha Lietz and husband, Al, granddaughters, Mistie McCracken and husband, Hawk and Sommer Dodd and husband, Denny, 4 great grandchildren, Mark Anthony (Tony) Hill, Will Hill and wife, Stephanie, Michael Hill and wife, Carolina and Raelynn Dodd as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, September 25, from 1PM to 8 PM with a graveside services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Foster Cemetery in Foster, OK.
