Rockwell - Mrs. Jim (Bridget D.) Bamrick, 87, of Rockwell, died Tuesday (Oct. 9, 1984) at a Rockwell nursing home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockwell with the Rev. Patrick Geary officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at the Sacred Heart Parish Center. A parish rosary will be said at the parish center at 7:30 tonight. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 17, 1897, in Rockwell, she was the daughter of Patrick Anna (Campbell) Gallagher. She was raised in the Rockwell area, and married Jim Bamrick in 1920. They farmed in the Rockwell and Dougherty area.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockwell and the Sacred Heart Guild. She was active in the church and community life.
She is survived by her husband, Jim of Rockwell; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Skyles of Mission Viejo, Calif.; Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Kapler of Dubuque; Bridget Bamrick, Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. Jim (Marge) Nowell, Waukesha, Wis.; five sons, Martin of Williamsburg; Joe of Rockwell; John, Dubuque; Dick of Long Beach, Calif.; and Paul of Rockwell; 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
