Jack was a Seaman Third Class veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Korean War and retired from E. I. Dupont. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseshoes.
He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Adams and Debbie (Carl) Bennett, both of Parkersburg; one son, Randall E. Adams and wife Stormy Mason of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Kelley Adams; one brother, Tom; and two grandchildren, Carl Michael Bennett and Brandy M. Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with interment to follow at Merrill Chapel Cemetery.
