Mary Eliza Cudd, 84, widow of J. Pinckney Cudd, widely known resident of Glendale, died at her home Saturday, October 20, 1945.

Mrs. Cudd, daughter of Thomas O. and Martha Blanton McKelvey, was born and reared in the Rutherford County, NC. She moved to Glendale in 1911 and was active in community activities.

Funeral services were conducted at the Glendale Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery with grandsons serving as active pallbearers.
