Leann Shirre Cox Schuldies
TWIN FALLS • Our beautiful Leann Shirre Cox Schuldies passed away in her home Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, with her daughter, Brianna Leann Cox.
Leann was born April 10, 1976, in Castro Valley, Calif., to Charles Claude Cox III and Jaiedene Moody Watts. She attended school in Buhl, Idaho, and in 2013, Leann graduated from the College of Southern Idaho with an associate's degree in science. Leann was determined to continue her education in order to provide a great life for her children so after finishing at the College of Southern Idaho, she enrolled at Idaho State University. She found a love for medical science and enjoyed chemistry and microbiology. Her hope was to become an anesthesiologist.
Leann's drive to accomplish her goals was admired by those around her. If Leann decided that she was going to do something, she did it. There was no end to her stubbornness or her determination when she made a decision. Her friends knew when her mind was made up when she would end a conversation stating "I do what I want." She enjoyed working as a waitress/bartender at the Pressbox Sports Bar and Elevation 486.
Leann's five children were her world. Her passion for life and for her children could be seen by all who knew her. Wherever Leann was, her children were not far from her side. She loved, protected and provided for them with all of the courage and determination she could muster. As a family, they kept busy camping and boating. Leann loved the wilderness, and she found peace there. Leann can be remembered not only for her dedication to her children and the pursuit of her dreams but also her dedication to her friends and loved ones. Leann was a fiercely loyal and dependable friend. Even when she was faced with her own adversity, she was still readily available to offer support to those she loved whenever they needed her.
Leann is survived by her four children, Bryson Wesley, Alexandra Cynthia, Dallas George and Gabriel Charles. She is also survived by her mother, Jaiedene Watts; brother, Jason Fruge; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Chuck; and her daughter, Brianna Leann.
Our friend, our daughter, our sister will be greatly missed. The world is forever changed without her in it. As our hearts ache for her heroism, look for healing in the radiating strength that she demonstrated and the love she gave to those around her. She is the brightest star in the sky looking down on those she loved the most. "Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life; getting back up is living." These are words that Leann lived by, and she did just that: she lived.

A funeral for Leann will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 960 Eastland Drive in Twin Falls. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Services are under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls.
