Lenora Anderson was born on December 2, 1937 to Payton & Alice Cook in Macon, Mississippi. She was one of seven children born to this union. Her parents, brother, Payton Cook, Jr., Sammie L. Cook , Lawrence Cook and Christopher Cook preceded her in death.
LENORA accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Church Of God In Christ Congregation in East St. Louis, IL. she loved the Lord and spent her life trying to bring others to Christ.
LENORA was married for more than 45 years to Ira Anderson, who preceded her in death. No children were born to this union.
LENORA retired from Carter Carburetor after 18 years of service.
LENORA loved to cook "Soul Food" dinners. She enjoyed eating and fellowshipping with her family.
After a long illness, the "Lord" called Lenora home to be with Him and her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Laura Chambers (Isadore), Winnie Cook and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
