WILLIAMSPORT - Anna M. Lanehart, 101, of 154 N. Artizan St., and formerly of 17530 Lexington Ave., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Williamsport Nursing Home.

Born Oct. 9, 1900, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Cutchaw Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston E. Lanehart, in 1969.

She was a member of First Methodist Church in Greencastle.

She was a member of Halfway Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Lee H. Lanehart; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. The Rev. Betty Dunlop will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to Halfway Volunteer Fire Department, 11114 Lincoln Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740; or St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 1020 Maryland Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
