HARRY ANSON, 72, DIES AT HOSPITAL
Harry B. Anson, 72, of 432 North Fourteenth street, died at 7:45 a.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital.
He was an upholsterer and former employee of the St. Nicholas hotel.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Vancil funeral home. Rev. A. Burd Arganbright will officiate.
Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.
Mr. Anson was born Sept. 15, 1870 in London, England. He came to America in 1883 and had been a resident of Springfield for 50 years.
For 25 years, he was employed by the St. Nicholas hotel.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran church and married Mary E. Rommel on April 6, 1910.
Surviving are his wife, a son, William, and daughter, Grace Anson, all of city; two brothers, Charles and George, Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Chard, Rochester, and Mrs. Edward Schuler, Springfield.
