Born May 18, 1913, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Albert W. and Ella Rhodes Beard.
Retired from Newton Glove Co., she was a former owner of a number of 7-11 convenience stores in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland G. Langley; a son, Lt. Dwight B. Dellinger; a brother, Hollis Beard; and four sisters, Maggie Kiser, Edith Edwards, Thelma Beard and Ola Misenheimer.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Pat and Jack Gantt of Newton; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Clyde Fox of Conover; three grandsons, Kyle and Nancy Dellinger of Cary, Thomas W. and Dee Gantt of Salisbury and John A. Gantt of Newton; two great-grandchildren, Connor Gantt and Addison Gantt; and a number of nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Dan Martin at 3:30 p.m. today in Catawba Memorial Park.
