Lucille Secrist Sanderson, 75, of Buena Vista died Tuesday, November 24, 1998, at her home. She was born March 20, 1923, in Buena Vista, daughter of the late Otho H. Secrist and Virgie P. Humphries Secrist. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Sanderson Sr.; and two sisters, Catherine C. Mutispaugh and Edna I. Link. She is survived by two sons, James W. Sanderson Jr., and Jerry M. Sanderson, both of Buena Vista; a granddaughter, Donna Marie Dixon; great-granddaughter, Hanna Nicole Dixon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service.
