ADAM BESSOLO, GULF TRAFFIC MANAGER, DIES
Adam J. Bessolo, of 53 Hoodridge Dr., Mt. Lebanon, general traffic manager for the Gulf Oil Corp., in Pittsburgh, died last night after an illness of two week. He was 53. Mr. Bessolo had been a residentof Pittsburgh since 1932 when he came to the city from Butler, Pa., where he had been associated with the Standard Street Car Co., as traffic manager from 1925. Previous to that he had been with the Gulf Mobile & Northern Railroad Co., and the Detroit Toledo & Ironton Railroad Co., in Detroit. Born in Calumet, Mich., Mr. Bessolo attended Drake Univeristy. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Athletic Club, National Freight Traffic Assn., the Pittsburgh Traffic Club and St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Mt. Lebanon. He is survived by hs widow, Mrs. Wilhemae Kollasch Bessolo; a daughter, Mrs. Oren B. Peterson of Mt. Lebanon; a son, John Adam Bessolo, at home; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, Frank Bessolo of Detroit, a brother and three sisters, all living in Detroit. Friends may call at the home until Wednesday morning when a solemn high mass of requiem will be held in St. Bernard's Church at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
