William Earle Bedient, the son of Fred and Katie (Cook) Bedient, was born at Amboy, Illinois on September 15, 1900 and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska on October 18, 1976 at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 3 days.
As a small boy he moved with his parents to Arborville, Nebraska. He received his education in the public schools in that vicinity.
He later resided in Polk and York, Nebraska until 1943 when he moved to Wichita, Kansas where he was employed by Cessna Aircraft Corporation as an inspector for 21 years.
On January 10, 1934 he was united in marriage to Enid Flick at Grand Island.
At the time of his retirement in 1964 they moved to Sun City, Arizona where they resided for 10 years, returning to Nebraska in 1974. Their home has been in Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mrs. Eva Stark and brother, Herbert Bedient.
Those who survive are his wife, Enid; sons, Glen A. Bedient of Boise, Idaho and Le Moyne E. Bedient of Eugene, Oregon; daughter, Mrs. Audrey A. Getty of Logan, Kansas; brother, Harold J. Bedient of York; 6 grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
