She was a wonderful homemaker and also worked with her husband at Fussell’s Restaurant and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and former choir member. She loved to plant flowers, cook and bake for family and others in need. She adored her children grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, B.J Gallagher, and three sisters Eva G. Cannady, Jessie G. Morrell and Ruby G. Turner.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Jones; children, Debbie Riley and husband Junior Riley of Roseboro, NC, and her twins: Larry Jones of Grand Forks, ND, and Sherry Jones Wellons and husband Mike Wellons of Wilmington, NC, and brother Morris Gallagher of Texas.
She has two grandchildren, Richard K. Faircloth and wife Melinda of Clinton, NC, Holly Wellons George and husband Ronnie George of Hampstead, NC and three great grandchildren (Garrett and Jordan Faircloth and Maverick George).
