Rolle D. Rexilius, 87, Lincoln, passed away on February 25, 2014. Born on September 27, 1926 in Ithaca, NE, second of six children of Arthur and Rosa (Bonow) Rexilius.
Rolle attended grade school throughout Saunders County and graduated from high school at Clatonia in 1944. Entered the U. S. Navy, 1944 and was discharged in 1946. He married Rosalee Long in 1947.
Following his military service he graduated from Wheaton, IL College. He retired after 21 years as a Letter Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service.
Family members include: daughters, Becky, Roxie, Rhonda and their families, which include 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, wife Rosalee; son, Thomas; brother, Jim; and sister, Marjorie Scott.
