Frederick Marts, 81, of 434 1/2 W. 6th St. died Saturday in a Long Beach hospital. He was a native of Kansas and came here in 1947. He was a retired real estate broker. Surviving are two sons, Lee M. Marts of the City Water Department, and Granville G. Marts Long Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Northey, Mrs. Dorothy Davis and Mrs. Myrtle Richardson; a sister, Mrs. Bern Duffy. Service will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Holton & Son Chapel with the Rev. John William Hanna officiating.
