Obituary for Shirley R Siscoe
Shirley R. (Webb) Siscoe, of Gosport, passed away at Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 12:35 pm at the age of 77.

She was born on June 19, 1938, in Monroe County into the home of Loren and Edna (Black) Webb. Shirley was retired from Richland Bean Blossom Community School Corporation where she had worked 33 years as a cafeteria cashier. She enjoyed working with her friends and seeing hundreds of kids every day. Shirley’s favorite occupations were being a caring mother to her children and devoted wife to her husband. Gardening, crocheting, and sewing were her favorite hobbies. She kept busy with her kids, watching grand-kids in their activities, and loved to visit with her great-grandkids. She and her husband loved family gatherings and spending time fishing and playing horse shoes. She was a long-time active member of the Lizzie Rebekah Lodge #413, having served in many positions, including Noble-Grand. She helped charter the Dada Theta Rho #77, Chapter in 1977.

She was preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Herman Russell Siscoe; brothers, Loren E. Webb, Rodney Webb, and Timmy Webb; sister, Patsy D. Laakman.

Shirley is survived by her children, Cheryl Cornman (Tom) of Ellettsville, Steven “Rusty” Siscoe (Chris) of Dugger, and Leasa Siscoe of Bloomington. Grandchildren are Jason (Amber) Cornman of Noblesville, Curtis (Kim) Cornman of Ft. Wayne, Brenna Siscoe and Darby Siscoe both of Dugger, IN, special mention Brandon (Brittany Harvey) Cornman of Lafayette, Jarod (Katia) Koon of Bloomington, Trevor Farkas of Bloomington, and Steffi Farkas of Bloomington; great-grandchildren Hannah and Gavin Cornman, R.J. and Maelynn Cornman, Keira and baby brother Koon; siblings Sharon Payton of Stinesville, Earnest Webb (Vivian) of Spencer, George Webb (Linda) of Ellettsville, Diena Norris (Bill) of Gosport, Susie Moyer (Mike) of Albuquerque, NM, Terry Webb (Becky) of Spencer, LaDonna Webb of Bloomington, and Marvin Webb of Gosport, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville on Friday, September 18, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. with burial service to follow at Chambersville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
