75, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2015, with his devoted wife Carolyn by his side.

Stephen Alfred Bielski was born on February 5, 1940 to Alfred D. and Sarah Lillian (Lewis) Bielski in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Stephen graduated from Carrick High School in Pittsburgh, and then studied accounting and finance at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.

After graduating from college, Stephen joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California.

He served as a navigator on aircraft that transported military personnel to and from Vietnam. After his discharge from the Air Force, Stephen started a company that manufactured vinyl liners and domes for swimming pools and tennis courts.

In addition to his wife Carolyn, Stephen is survived by his children, Phillip and Katherine; his stepchildren, Leo Henderson and Yvette Lee; his sister, Susan (Gary) Roush of New York; his brother, David (Lizz) Bielski of Pennsylvania; his cousin, Patricia Lewis (Ziggy) of California, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Larry Bielski and Jim Bielski; and his sister, Barbara Antion.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2015 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, Church of the Valley, 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks, California 95826 at 2:00 in the afternoon with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00.

Interment with Military Honors will follow the service.
