Mrs. Chloe Ida Dureee, 96, resident of Centerville for 55 years passed away at the Bonnell Nursing Home Saturday, Oct. 16, at 5:00 a.m. She had been in failing health for several years, a resident of the home for seven years.

Born in Bellair Township in Appanoose County April 6, 1869, she was the daughter of William and Lucy Jane Parks Felkner. On Dec. 23, 1885, she was married to P. W. Duree in Centerville. He preceded her in death, April 1, 1912. For many years she resided at 215 South 15th Street. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Centerville.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandson, Don Pullman.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lelah Pullman of rural route 1, Centerville; one granddaughter, Mrs. Mabel Boyd of Sarasota, Fla., and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at 2:00 p.m. from the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home. Rev. George Sheils, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
