Karla Lee Weesner age 61, 1343 North 300 East Portland passed away Saturday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Muncie July 30, 1954 the daughter of Bob and Joy (Bowne) Friddle. She was married June 27, 1975 to David Weesner who survives. She was deputy Jay County Auditor for forty years retiring in 2014. She was a 1972 Dunkirk High School graduate, Indiana Business College graduate, member of Collett Church of the Nazarene and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Surviving are her husband David, One son Josh Weesner ((wife Suzie) of Marion, one daughter Nikki Torre (husband Sean) of Dunkirk, her mother Joy Friddle of Dunkirk, two brothers Robert Friddle of Dunkirk and Mike Friddle of Tampa, FL., One sister Donna Friddle of Dunkirk, Six grandsons Austin, Xander, Micah, Memphis, Levi and Grayson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Stanton presiding. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Directed to the Family.
