Mary F. David, 69 of Altoona died unexpectedly late Monday evening August 24, 2015 at her residence.
She was born October 29, 1945 in Altoona a daughter of the late Clair E. and Mary B. (Benner) David.
Surviving are a brother Harry T. David of Altoona and a sister Gladys E. Wolfe of North Wales; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Virginia Burket and family of Altoona.
Mary was preceded in death by sisters, Anna McConnell and Lois Glass and brothers, Ed David and Robert James David.
Mary was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School.
She was self-employed as a personal consultant.
She enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets; trips to the casinos and playing Bingo.
Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday August 28, 2015 and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 29, 2015 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
