Funeral services for Henry C. Hamilton, 77, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. David Q. Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hamilton, a retired employee of the Bemis Company died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Henderson County, near Beech Bluff, son of the late John W. and Martha Mainord Hamilton, and was educated in the public schools of Henderson and Madison counties. For the past 50 years he had made his home in Bemis. Mr. Hamilton retired from the Bemis Companv in 1959 after serving as foreman in the Carding Department for 36 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church and a member of the Bemis 20-Year Club. Mr. Hamilton was married Dec. 20, 1915, to the former Lillian Holmes of Henderson County.
