Funeral services for Dr. Joe Henry Hankins, 77, of Little Rock, brother of Rev. Clyde Hankins of Forrest City will be Saturday at First Baptist Church in Little Rock. Dr. Paul Roberts and Dr. Dale Cowling will offiicate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff by Griffin-Leggett FH. A native of Pine Bluff, Dr. Hankins died in Little Rock on Thursday. A former pastor in Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and several cities in Texas, he became a full-time evangelist in 1943. A Shriner, he was also a member of Second Baptist Church in Little Rock. At the time of his death he resided on West Markham in Little Rock. In addition to his brother here, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Agnes Julian Hankins; two daughters, Mrs. M. O'Brien of Cabot, Mrs. Martha Hankins of Chicago; a brother, Joe Hankins of Arkadelphia; and six grandchildren.
