John W. Edwards, 69, of Wahiawa, a Tender Loving Care Co. proprietor, died in Wahiawa.

He was born in Long Beach, California to William Thomas and Mary Edda Hamilton Edwards.

He attended Granger High School in Utah where he met his first wife, Linda Jean Bossard. They were married February 21st 1964 and had two children together; later divorced. When he was 28, he moved to Hawaii and started his company, Loving Tender Care Co. He also met his second wife, Diane Soto. They were married May 20th 1977.

Survived by his wife, Diane, his children, John Wagers and Lynnette Gallagher. Grandchildren, Patrick Gallagher and Amber Gallagher-Cluff, Quentin and little Amber Wagers. Great-grandchildren, Braeden and Shaelie Cluff. Brothers William T. Jr., Henry J. Edwards and Don Ohms. Sisters Karen L. Edwards and Darlene Ohms Larsen and many other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mary, stepmother, Helen; two brothers Arthur H. Edwards and Dennis Ohms.

Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday the 14th at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, Mauka Chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. 

Celebration of Life Dinner SLC UT Monday the 12th.
