Turner Lee Cook, 79, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Pine Haven Health and Rehab. Turner was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 11, 1936 to the late John William and Clarice (Cavanaugh) Cook. Turner worked at Whirlpool for 34 years. Later he enjoyed working part time at Shamrock Engineering. Turner liked researching his genealogy. During his free time he enjoyed talking; and grandchildren, Joseph Cook and Kayla Ruby. Turner was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue (Hayes) Cook in 2005; and his parents; sister, Pauline Shrodes; and brother, John Cook, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home.
