BROTHER OF NEW BERN WOMAN DIES NEAR VANCEBORO MONDAY
John Harvey Barrow, 39, died from a sudden heart attack suffered at the home of his brother, Jasper Barrow, near Vanceboro at 7:15 Monday night.
Funeral service will be held at the home of Jasper Barrow at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will take place in the Barrow cemetery.
Mr. Barrow was a life long native of Dudley's Crossroad community and was a member of the Oak [G]rove Free Will Baptist church. He is survived by one son, Richard Barrow and one daughter, Dorothy Barrow of near Vanceboro; three brothers, Jasper M., Herbert W. Barrow of near Vanceboro and Clyde W. Barrow of Raleigh; two sisters, Mrs. David [Vera] Gaskins of Vanceboro and Mrs. Elbert [Christine] Hicks of New Bern.
