Leah Lorraine Campbell Phelps, 79, died September 7, 2015. (She would be upset knowing we put Leah on here). She died of complications from Alzheimers, while in the loving arms of her family.

Lorraine was born July 21, 1936 in Tetonia, Idaho to Bryant and Almedia Fullmer Campbell, the ninth of eleven children. Married David Phelps September 24, 1955, raising their family in Bountiful, Utah.

Lorraine was a member of the LDS church, where she loved the young women’s sports program. She loved all sports, and anyone who knew her, knew golf was her favorite. She held the Davis County ladies club champion 11 times. Lorraine was a little spit fire, standing at 5 foot nothing. Anyone sitting by her at a sporting event knew they were putting themselves in danger as her arms and words flew freely.

Survived by children, Bonnie Phelps of Denver Colorado, David (Louise) Phelps of Ledyard Connecticut, Shelly (Joe) Kirton of Washington Utah, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Luenna Orr and brother Wendall Campbell, along with so very many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Dave, daughter Terri, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters.

Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
