Daughter of John Henry and Texas Ann Tennessee Basham (also buried in Rockwall Memorial). Member of the 1st Baptist Church of Rockwall for 80 years. Member of the Lakeside Book Club. Married A.M. "Shorty" Rodgers November 25, 1933. Survived by son James D. Rodgers and wife Dawn, grandsons Tome Rodgers & wife Martha, Jason Rodgers & wife Amanda, Aaron Rodgers and Anthony Rodgers & wife Laura. Great grandchildren Mason & Faith Rodgers, sister in law Florence Johnson. Preceded in death by 2 brothers J.Dewey (buried Rockwall Memorial) and Ottie Basham and a sister Birtie Lou "Sister" Smith.
