Mary Isabelle Davis, age 100, of Flippo’s Carefree Living Center in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center in Flippin, Arkansas.

Mrs. Davis was born July 3, 1915 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to the late Ward Wade and Violet Barbara (Cook) Stitt. Mrs. Davis had been self-employed as a piano teacher. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Yellville; was a former member of Eastern Star Chapter #202, Yellville; and Cotter Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. She had served as organist in many churches throughout her life.

Isabelle is survived by her husband, Hiram, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas;

four sons: Robert Wolf of Orange Park, Florida; Terry Wolf of Phoenix, Arizona; Gary Wolf of Parma Heights, Ohio; and Jerry Wolf of Hayward, California;

three sisters: Helen Stitt of Clemmons, North Carolina; Retha Young; and Alene Pearson, both of Latrobe, Pennsylvania;

thirty-one grandchildren;

and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharlene Meier;

and one brother, Jim Stitt.

Funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Jefferson officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at De Soto Cemetery near Yellville, Arkansas.
