Mildred Mae Brinkley Nicholson, age 92, arrived in heaven on September 6, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Strong City, Oklahoma to John and Maggie Brinkley. She taught Business at Southwestern Assemblies of God College and Evangel College (now University) for many years. She was a member of Evangel Ladies Auxiliary and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a long-time member of Central Assembly of God. Mildred was also preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Maynard, and her husband, Virgil of 68 years. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Marilyn and Tonny Wolfe, and Judy and Wayne Werner, son-in-law Mark Maynard, 8 grandchildren and spouses, 14 great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
Committal services will be held at Greenlawn North Cemetery, 3506 N. National Ave, Springfield, MO.
