Mr. Garnet Nelson Coleman, age 70 of Roanoke and formerly of Franklin County, died Saturday, April 4, 1992. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sue Dillard Coleman of the home; one son, Larry Andrew Coleman, Lynchburg; five sisters, Jessie Perry, Thelma Hammack, Ruby Haley, all of Danville; Irene Hart, Baltimore, Md.; Ruth Haley, Jacksonville, N.C.; six brothers, Robert Coleman, Danville; Warren Coleman, Ryland Coleman, and Luther Coleman, all of Martinsville; Marshall Coleman, Hawaii; George Noel Hutcherson, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Billy R. Shively. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call anytime after 2:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
