Mildred Cook Klimist, 98, loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, died peacefully Monday evening, Sept. 7, 2015.
Born Nov. 19, 1916, in Crockett, Mildred was the daughter of William Luke and Eddie Shivers Cook.
She was married to Dave Klimist of Fort Worth, who died in 2005.
Mildred was a longtime member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom and served on the cemetery committee with her husband for many years. Following the death of her husband, she became responsible for the enhanced beautification efforts in the cemetery.
Survivors: In addition to her children, Carolyn Corder, Jay Robbins, Jack David Robbins, Marty Robbins and Jo Carol Moore, Mildred is survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor Meeker, Summer Michelle Moore and Randy Moore; and one great-grandchild.
