W. Frank Johnson, age 80, of Elsinboro passed away Sunday, August 2nd in Seasons Hospice at Christiana Medical Center, Newark, DE.

Born in Salem he was the son of the late Donald V. and Evelyn Johnson. Dr. Johnson was an Educational Facilities Consultant for The Design Collaborative of Cape May Court House. Dr. Johnson was a US Army veteran. He received a BA in Social Sciences from Rutgers University, Camden, his Masters in Education from the University of Delaware and his Doctorate in Education from the University of Tennessee. Frank was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Salem where he served as an elder. He was a former Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of The East of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Frank was a member of the Exchange Club of Salem and a former member of the American Legion Band. He enjoyed baseball and was a lifetime Phillies' fan.

Dr. Johnson is survived by his wife, the former Wendy Parker; his daughter, Rebecca Becker (Thomas) of Lancaster, PA; his son, Thomas Johnson (Debra) of Woodbridge, VA; and eight grandchildren, Katie B. Everett (Benjamin) of Philadelphia, PA, Eliza B. Lewis of Philadelphia, PA, Hannah Becker of Denver, CO, William Becker of Lancaster, PA, Magdalena Becker of Lancaster, PA, Matthew Johnson of Woodbridge, VA, Timothy Johnson of Woodbridge, VA and Elizabeth Johnson of Woodbridge, VA. He is predeceased by his sisters, Sue Johnson, Kay Cogdill and Donna Haden.

A graveside service will be private. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15th in the First Presbyterian Church of Salem, 88 Market Street where friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., Delaware Valley Chapter, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053 or to the Ambleside School of Lancaster, PO Box 6115, Lancaster, PA 17607
