Sandra Kay (Brawner) Gonzalez, 67, passed away September 28, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society, Hutchinson, Kansas. Born in Reeds Spring Junction, Missouri on February 13, 1948 she was the daughter of Wayne and Rhea (Dewater) Brawner. She was a retired nurse's aide.
She loved computers and enjoyed her hobby as a seamstress for animals, particularly, dogs.
She is survived by 1 son, Kim Schelgunov; 1 daughter, Jo Lynn Schelgunov, both of Ohio; 1 brother, Wayne E. Brawner, Jr, of Hutchinson; Ks; 2 sisters, Roberta Belote of Hutchinson, Ks, Gayle Davenport of Moore, Oklahoma; her companion, Candido Ramirez; and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
