CHARLES F. ALEXANDER, age 70, of Piqua, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 8:15 P.M. at his home. He was born on December 3, 1944 in Leon, West Virginia, the son of the late Marion and Sylvia (Casto) Alexander.

On July 10, 1992 he married Dorothy Anderson who survives along with one daughter, Sheila (Robert) Smith of Sidney, three step-daughters, Tammera (Rick) Clegg, Sharon (Kenny) Hudson and Regina Mumford all of Piqua, three siblings, Ruby Clark of West Virginia, Melvin Alexander of Sidney and Raymond Alexander of Indiana, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Harriet Alexander, three brothers, Bob, Theodore and Irvin Alexander, and one sister, Hazel Mash.

Mr. Alexander stayed busy working various jobs over the years, and most recently worked at Sears and Evenflow in Piqua.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Hardin. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M.
