Mrs. Helen M. Johns, 86, of Oshkosh, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 1990, in Oshkosh.
She was born Aug. 19, 1903, in Rosholt, a daughter of Peter and Martha Betker Simonis. On Sept. 7, 1973, she married Elmer Johns.
Mrs. Johns was employed for 30 years with Waite Carpet Company in Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Oshkosh.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Henslin and her husband Robert of Oshkosh, and Virginia Ashford of Carpinteria, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Wanserski of South Milwaukee. Her husband preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Oshkosh. The Rev. Stanley Kolbusz will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Oshkosh. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, Oshkosh.
