Elease Ballanger Willey, 89, of Russellville, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, at her home. She was born February 18, 1926, in Pope County, to Fate and Mira Gray Ballanger. She was a former employee of International Shoe Company, and attended Oakland Heights Assembly of God. She loved to read, play bingo and go to church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noel Ragon Willey; four brothers, C. W. Ballanger, Paul Edward Ballanger, Robert Ballanger and Rail Ballanger; and eight sisters, Delphia Vinson, Ollie Lawson, Ruby Lawson, Retha Burns, Ora Smith, Delia Aday, Weymer Vaughan and Cora Ballanger.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Devoe Campbell. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Freeman, John Paul Tucker, Kyle DeFrancisco, David DeFrancisco, Ricky Womack and Bill Waldo.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the Area Agency on Aging, and Sherry Irons.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
