Doris Belle Bullock, 89, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at her residence.

A Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 in Baptist Memorials Chapel with Chaplain Kevin McSpadden of Baptist Memorials and Pastor Randy Bush of Harris Avenue Baptist Church officiating. A private burial will be in El Paso, Texas. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Doris was born Sept. 21, 1925 to Lawrence and Ruby (Stewart) Walker in Ottowa {Ottawa}, Kansas. Thereafter, the family moved to El Paso April 1, 1941. Doris graduated from Austin High School in El Paso. She started working for Southern Pacific Railroad in 1943 and continued there until she attended Texas Western College where she earned her teaching certificate and began teaching in the El Paso School System until she retired in 1981. After retirement, Doris moved to Milano, Texas where she lived for ten years. She then moved to San Angelo in 1991.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings Lawrence Hall Walker, Velma Grace Coleman and Marilyn Jane Walker.

She is survived by her husband, daughter Janice Kay Bullock of San Angelo; sons Joe Charles Bullock Jr. of El Paso, Leonard Ralph Bullock of Chandler, Arizona and Larry David Bullock of Cokedale, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister June Hollenshead of El Paso and brother Marvin "Zane" Walker of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
