Roscoe O. Patterson, Sr., 80, retired farmer, died in a Sherman hospital at 8:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 1969. He had been ill for some time.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist church with the Rev. Erwin Reed, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Burns cemetery with Earnheart directing.
Mr. Patterson was born Jan. 30, 1889 at Orangeville, son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Patterson. He was married to Miss Susan Birdie Wilson at Randolph, May 26, 1915. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Mr. Patterson had made his home in the Orangeville-Trenton area all of his life.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Roscoe Patterson, Jr., of Dallas; Mrs. Relf A. Fenley of Japan; a brother, Bee Patterson of Trenton, a sister Mrs. Jewel Smith of Trenton, and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
