He is buried next to his father, Albert Lafayette Bentley in the Bentley Family cemetery in the city of Forsyth, Monroe County, Georgia.
This small cemetery is located near South Lee Street (GA HWY 42) at the Forsyth City Limit sign. It is close to the side of the road near Rock Branch Creek just north of Freeman Ave.

Services Friday
Funeral Services for Curtis Eugene Bentley, 32, of Rt. No. 5 Herndon Trailer Park will be held Friday (9/7/1973) at 3 p.m. in Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Bentley Cemetery in Monroe County.
Mr. Bentley was a native of Forsyth and had lived in Macon for the past two years. He was a mechanic for Barney A. Smith Lincoln-Mercury, a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Mary Campbell Bentley of Macon; two daughters, Lori Bentley and Beverly Bentley; one son, Derrick Bentley, all of Macon; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bentley of East Point, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Sara Harris of Tallahassee, Fla.; and Mrs. Bonnie Danial of Tallahassee, Fla.; four Brothers, Hubert Lee "Bo" Bentley of Tallahassee, Fla.;
