CATHERINE BROWNE BYRNES, 89, passed away April 18, 2005. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene McShan; sisters, Emma Kissinger and Irene Winter; brother, Joe Browne; and two husbands, Henry Westerman and Forrest (Bob) Byrnes. Catherine is survived by her son, Dan Westerman; step-daughter, Paula Wright; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Yerkes; brother, John T. Browne; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Earthman Bellaire Chapel, 6700 Ferris. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2005 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 6725 Reed Rd. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Academy, 9000 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, Texas 77036 or Houston Hospice, 8811 Gaylord, Houston, Texas 77024.
