CARLTON RESIDENT BURIAL SET SATURDAY
Viola Jane Thayer, 47, who had made her home in Carlton for the past five years, died Wednesday morning.
She was the wife of R.A. Thayer, who survives her. She also leaves a brother, Orrin Van Blaricom of Portland.
Mrs. Thayer was born in Vernonia, June 18, 1893, and married in 1924 at Vernonia. She had lived in Portland and Carlton prior to her death. She was a member of the Full Gospel church.
Saturday morning, at 10:30 has been announced as the time of the funeral at Macy chapel, with Rev. Brock officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
