She was a daughter of John T Armstrong and Mary Jane Williams Armstrong of Kingston. She first married Wilford Dudley in 1902. Her husband died in 1904. She 2nd married Michael F. Padden.

Pall bearers were William Jones, John Jones, John Armstrong, Robert Armstrong, Benjamin Carey and William Corgan.
