Henry County Local--June 28, 1962
Rebecca Ann (Becky) Adams, eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olie A. Adams, New Castle, died unexpectedly of a cerebral hemorrhage at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at her home.
She had not been ill.
She attended New Castle Grade School and had just completed the third grade there.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Andy Adams, at home; a grandmother, Mrs. W. J. Powell, and a grandfather, Squire Adams, both of New Castle.
Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Prewitt Funeral Home in New Castle. The Rev. L. F. Moody, pastor of the New Castle Christian Church, and the Rev. Donald Steffy, Cincinnati, former pastor of Campbellsburg Christian Church, officiated. Interment was in New Castle Cemetery.
