Raymond C. Adams, 84 of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, June 4th at the King's Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Board of Directors of The Central Bank for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eliza Adams, Pleasureville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Atchison, Smithfield; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Elnora McGowan, Pleasureville.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7th at the Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Rev. Donald Hatton, former pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Malcolm Pugh, pastor. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery. Thomas Funeral Home, Pleasureville, was in charge of arrangements.
