Ralph A. McCarra , 91, of Quitman, passed away on September 3, 2015 at Anderson's Hospital.
He was born on March 24, 1924 to Floyd and Ola (Hayes) McCarra in Clarke County, MS. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corp.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Darlene McCarra; sons, Joey McCarra and Terry McCarra; daughters, Elise Slay, Kathy Robertson, Cheryl Fairchild, and Wanda McCarra; brothers, Prentis McCarra, Rodney McCarra, Cletis McCarra, and Floyd McCarra; sisters, Agnes Broadhead, Jewel Boozer, Faye McCarra, Nina Gay Boswell, and Lucille Dearman; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2015, after 5:30 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015, 2:00 pm at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Volking officiating.
Pallbearers will be Woody Jones, Michael Thompson, Robert Dearman, Charles Boswell, Mickey Long, and Garrith Thompson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bob Mars.
