Irene is preceded in death by her first husband, Lawson Stigall; her second husband, Roy Dowden; her two sons, Lonnie and Steve Stigall; two brothers, Arque and Gene McDaris; two step-children, Noel Dowden and Carlene Key; and two sons-in-law, Jimmie Moseley and Carl Key.

Irene was saved and baptized at an early age and became a member at the Green Valley Church. Irene knew her Lord and read her bible every night before going to bed.

Irene was a homemaker through and through. When she wasn’t cooking or baking, she would be busy sewing a quilting for her family. Irene also enjoyed putting puzzles together and scrapbooking for her grandkids. Irene always kept a journal to write down the days events that were most dear to her. Most importantly, she loved her family with all of her heart and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and will always cherish the many happy memories she created.
