Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Starley was a native of Wilkinson County and made him home in Milledgeville before moving to Gordon. He retired as a supervisor with Central State Hospital Forensic Services Division with 34 years of service. He served in the U. S. Navy for eight years as a Military Police officer and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Ivey Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Mills Jackson Starley and his mother Lila Mae Youngblood Starley.
Survivors include a sister, Lila S. Gaskins of Gordon; three brothers, Mills C. Starley and Randy Starley, both of Gordon, and Larry Starley of Milledgeville.
