Sarah Ann Laslie, 73, of Lewisport, passed away on August 31, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Lewisport on March 11, 1942 to the late Ernest and Alice Alexander. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a housewife. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Laslie, a son, Bernard Laslie, Jr. and two sisters Loretta Pate and Naomi Englert.

Survivors include a son, Tony (Devie) Laslie of Hawesville; a daughter, Mary Ann (Todd) Woodward of Hawesville; five grandchildren, Justin Laslie, Lisa (Aaron) Bowlds, Nick Laslie, Kayla Woodward and Brandon Laslie; two great grandchildren, Austin Laslie and Jaidann Laslie; two sisters, Geneva Roberts and Sharon Glover; three brothers, Doug Alexander, Eli Alexander and Roger Alexander along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Cannelton with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
